This kit will be offered in one of Riley Blakes a keepsake boxes and includes the pattern. This pattern can be found in our Trendy Table 3 book (available now), as a single pattern (available next month) or in the kit mentioned below. You can preorder this kit here, but again they will only be available as long as I can get more fabric. It’s Fat Quarter friendly and uses the Creative Grids 60-degree triangle ruler. It’s an oversized snowflake block and it makes for a very dramatic wall or lap quilt! This pattern will also be available next month. You leave me a comment to be entered into the Sew Along or send me an email to sign up! I would love to have you join us. We will start on June 17th and it will run through August 19th. I am also going to be hosting a Sew Along for this quilt. The preorders are due shortly, so if you want to make sure that you get one, you will want to commit sooner than later! There may be more available later, but it all depends on if I will be able to get more fabric. I am taking preorders for those that would like a kit of this sampler. This pattern will be available next month. My favorite is the Snowed In Sampler below. I also have a set of patterns to go with the collection. This Fat Quarter pack is available for preorder here. Here’s a closer look at those prints – a mix of winter motifs, florals, dots, plaids, and a touch of the holidays. In Minnesota, being snowed in can be one of the best things – you can’t get out so no going to work or activities. Now I can’t wait to get “Snowed In” this winter with a pile of this fabric and create quilts for my home. The combination is fresh, yet warm and inviting. It’s easy to see that all of these things inspired the different prints in this fabric collection. I like to mix in pine boughs, red berries, snowmen, and trees – anything to make my home warm and cozy during the long winter. I watch them all season and they just make me happy! My love of snowflakes has led me to collect a few other complimentary winter decorations. As soon as the first snowflakes start to fly, I hang my collection of hand-cut paper snowflakes around the house. I live in Minnesota, where we have winter for about 5 months out of the year. If you follow me on any of my other social media channels, you have already seen it, but I thought I would share it here too for those that haven’t! It was fun to see so many of you still here, even though I took such a long blog break! To get you caught up on what I’ve been doing, I have a fabric line to share that will be coming out in May. I have a new Alabama Chanin style shirt and a finished quilt top to share next.As I mentioned in my last post, I’m behind on sharing my new things with my blog readers. Lastly, check out this version! I love the beautiful prints and bold colors – don’t they just pop? Isn’t this cabin beautiful? I makes me want to add some of this fabric to my stash. I love the addition of the extra cabin and trees on this one, along with the stripe border. She made it larger by adding one extra row of trees to the bottom. Lastly, I want to share just a couple of show and tell photos from a few people who have shared their work on Instagram. Somehow I didn’t even notice it until I was editing these photos □ See the circled part below? I need to rip that section out and turn it around. My only tip here is to look more closely at the diagram when sewing the trees together than I did. I cut the red 1 1/4″ and the black floral 2 1/2″. If you want to do your like this, it will take 4 strips of each color. (You may remember that the original runner has one scrappy border) Next, just sew them together as shown in the diagram. If you have all your trees pieced, the next step is to add the fillers to the top of the small and medium trees. I have just a few things to share for the next step in the QAL, and then I will share some show and tell. Yay! Please email your shipping info to I will have your fabric, books and patterns shipped out asap. Tuesday is the only day I daycare for both, so that means no blog post until next Tuesday! Hopefully they are over it, but tis the season.īefore I move on to today’s post, here is the randomly selected winner of the giveaway from my last post:Īnke Dudas, who commented on February 17th that she had just finished piecing the runner. I haven’t forgotten about the giveaway, but I was going to do my post last Tuesday when the kids got sick.
